Business Advisory for Growth
Nothing grows without a little TLC, so if business growth is on your agenda, chances are you’ll need someone to support you through those vulnerable early stages. Avoid unnecessary growing pains by giving your business the nurturing it deserves, with expert advice and tools to make informed business decisions.
Our business advisory services typically include a mix of the following, depending on the type of business you have, and what stage it’s at. We’ll work with you to develop the perfect combination of support to keep your business growth objectives well on track. The first step is to give us a call - we’ll meet with you for a general discussion about where your business is at right now, then pull together a customised business advisory package to suit your needs.
Financial Awareness Training
Understanding your numbers gives enormous insight into your business. Knowing what improvements to make, or things to change can stop you from having sleepless nights worrying about cash-flow, or how to improve your profit.
Reviewing your numbers every two months with one of our skilled accountants, will unravel the mystery of your financial reports, giving you confidence to make the right choices and peace of mind in your decisions.
Quarterly Business Review
Finding time to work on your business and not just in it, is a challenge. Staying on track to your business plan requires discipline and commitment. Having someone else to hold you accountable to your plans makes it really hard to avoid them.
If you are really keen to achieve your goals, it helps to be held accountable. We’ll schedule a regular three monthly reporting timetable, where you meet with one of our senior team members.
Most business owners know that cash is king, however not many understand their business cash cycle. Working with one of our senior team members to plan your financial forecast for the year ahead, can identify any issues with cash-flow early so corrective action can be implemented.
Forecasting can also show how much lending the business can afford and is a useful tool when applying for funding from your banker.
Ideally this should be done before the start of every financial year, however anytime is a good time to start. Forecasting allows you to set your income and expenditure expectations, and then measure yourself against those expectations on a monthly basis.
This normally takes around two hours of one on one time with a senior team member and then we can finalise this in the office. Depending upon the complexity of your business, the fee for this service can range from $1,500 to $2,500 (excl GST).
KPI Improvement and Benchmarking
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are the key drivers in your business, and understanding them gives you the tools to unlock measures to increase profitability, improved cash-flow. We can assist with establishing these key drivers, how they are measured and then reported so that they provide a good understanding of the business for your key decisions and making improvements.
